is located on campus of the University of Stuttgart (Vaihingen)
You can reach it via "Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart-Vaihingen",
A81 - direction Stuttgart, exit Universität.

 by airplane
Take the subway (station under the airport, designated by a green "S"). You can take any train,
which is leaving to Stuttgart. You need a ticket for 2 zones (currently 2,45 Euro).
Tickets can be purchased at the silver coloured ticket machines.
Get off the subway at station "Universität" and leave the station on exit "Universitätszentrum".
You are at point S on the plan above.
Alternatively: Take a taxi to "Universität Stuttgart-Vaihingen" (about 30 Euro)
Go to the building "Pfaffenwaldring 55". You'll find the institute (red I on the plan)
on the 8th floor.

lines:
S1 direction "Herrenberg"
S2 direction "Filderstadt" or "Vaihingen"
S3 direction "Flughafen" or "Vaihingen"

Take the Autobahn A831 from the "Stuttgarter Kreuz" (A8 x A831) direction "Stuttgart", "S-
Zentrum".
Take the exit "Universität" and turn left at the first traffic light.
You'll arrive at point C on the plan overleaf.
